Regional SPFs
Regional SPFs have become increasingly prominent and integral to the delivery of national and regional policy and programmes that impact on the health workforce. Through the regional SPFs, partners recognise respective roles and responsibilities, establish shared values and common purpose, and set key principles for effective joint working. This provides important benefits including ensuring high standards of employment practice in the NHS and improved services for patients and service users.
The engagement teams
NHS Employers engagement teams support the regional SPFs. There are four teams supporting four areas of the country: the North (North East and North Cumbria, North West, and Yorkshire and Humber); the South (South West, and South East); the Midlands & East (East Midlands, West Midlands, and East of England) and London.
