Promoting partnership working in the NHS

Wider Group - key comms - 17 October 2018

Matt Hancock, secretary of state for health and care joined the October wider group meeting to update on his three priorities: workforce, technology and prevention. Secretary of state was very pleased to attend the SPF and saw the forum as important for engaging with key partners on workforce and driving the agenda forward. 

The meeting also included discussions on the Long Term Plan, wholly owned subsidiaries, the flu fighter campaign and work to tackle violence against NHS staff. There was also an update from the ambulance sector partnership forum, what it has achieved and planned activity.
