SPF Conference - Positive Partnership working through COVID and beyond
On 31 March the Social Partnership Forum will host its Positive Partnership working through COVID and beyond conference. The conference will take place from 10am - 3pm and will bring together, for the first time, the national and regional SPFs, with workforce leaders, employers and trade unions to celebrate partnership working and share learning and good practice from the NHS and social care response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event provides an ideal opportunity to reflect and recognise the continuous hard work of NHS and social care staff, and to share important learning from the pandemic, particularly focussing on exemplars of partnership working during this time.
The pandemic has had a significant impact on BME staff with equality, diversity and inclusion (ED&I) at the forefront of priorities for the People Plan. During the day delegates will discuss and develop actions that can be taken back to their organisations to work on in partnership around the ED&I agenda.
We are delighted to welcome a range of confirmed speakers including:
• Sara Gorton, Head of Health, UNISON
• Rebecca Smith, Managing Director, NHS Employers
• Prerana Issar, NHS Chief People Officer, NHS England and NHS Improvement
• Richard Saundry, Professor of HRM and Employment Relations at the University of Sheffield
• Tracie Jolliff, Head of Inclusive System Development, Equality & Inclusion Function of the People Directorate at NHS England and NHS Improvement
• Dr Habib Naqvi MBE, Director of NHS Race and Health Observatory, NHS Race and Health Observatory
A full programme will be shared shortly.
